No quilting at my house....

Kids.....

They change your life forever.  The saying is true, no matter how old they are you still worry about them.  They sure can make life complicated.

 Nope, not driving this anymore.

I've spent just about the entire week scouring the area for a decent used vehicle, not an easy or fun job.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned this week, tell your kids to begin the
phone call with,

"I'm okay"

that's it for today,
thanks for checking on me,
hugs,

joanne

love to hear what you've got to say..................

My oldest son was in his mid 20's and returning after a trip to see his girlfriend in Richmond. Before the phone rang I could hear sirens...lots of sirens. He was rear ended and the car caught on fire about 3 miles from our home. The phone rang and the first thing he said was, "I'm ok, Mom". When I realized those sirens were because of the accident, I started crying but at least I knew he was ok. You really do never stop worrying about them. Being a mom is a forever job!

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Thankfully, even if it is a pain, a truck can be replaced!

Each of my kids have had accidents. They called my husband, who is not their father, instead of me. No matter how old they are or how old they get, they're your babies!

Wow! I hope he is O.K.
If you figure out how to teach them to start the phone call that way please let me know, I think adrenaline knocks those words right out of their heads.

OMGosh! Thank goodness he is ok! Our DS had a roll over accident a few years ago~ he didn't call, the hospital did. :-o He was ok, but we had to give permission for the MRI etc. Came away with a broken nose. Scary times! You are so right, a mom is a mom no matter their age. have a good day!

How scary is that...my heart just leaped out of my chest....so glad all is well...could have been horrible. Called it a blessing in your life.

Once you hear, "I'm OK" then you can go over and knock their block off for scaring you half to death! I'm so sorry that kid turned it over but just like you...I"m absolutely thrilled he is standing upright without any injuries.

Hugs,
Kelly
