So Much to Share!!!

Life is just hectic, busy and fun!!  I'm going to try to make this short, sweet and tons of pics, so here goes.....

Blueberry picking!!  Did it for the first time last weekend! Could not believe the berries on the bushes!  Met the nicest people!  The berry farm was the same one who supported the church blueberry festival with the quilts from a couple of week ago.  So glad I found them, it was dumb luck on my part.  Driving down the road from the fair and saw the PYO blueberries sign.  PERFECT!!

Here's the sign at the entrance to the farm...

Here's Dad and Mom.  Nice, nice, super nice people!!

They have three generations working the berries.

Here's Luke counting out the change for a customer.  Dad is watching over his shoulder just like a good Dad always does.  Click on the pic and read the sign, LOVE it!!  Told you they were super nice people!

I was shocked!!  Just look at all of those berries!

This farm has 5 acres and 4,500 plants the Bartlett's care for.  I am SO glad they do!  Taking Jeff to help pick more either Saturday or Sunday, good thing we just bought that freezer!!!!!

Guild activities kept me busy over the weekend.  One of the guilds I belong to does demo's at the League of New Hampshire Craft Fair for two days.  It was incredible!!!  Here's a few pictures, sorry there aren't many close up's wasn't sure about taking pictures and wanted to make sure I didn't step on any toes with the pictures....

 This guy was pretty cool.....

What seemed like miles of tents...

 Inside one of the tents...

 Painting on silk...

 Working with glass demo.....

Iron worker, it was hot!!

Aren't these pretty??? Birds flying through the fair..

Aren't these cool!!  You can see the artist in the next picture.... Philip, managed to get him in the shot as I was taking the pic of his sign.

MILES of tents, see the snow making things...lol!!

Here's a couple of pictures of our booth...see Terry's wall hanging that she sent me?! Part of the show!

I've been working on downsizing the famous McDuff bag for the guild.  More on that later, here's what I took to display at the fair.

Final size of the bag, so CUTE!!  LOVE IT!!

Last one for the day, promise!!  Found this cute little book shelf at the Listens Center.  It's the Goodwill/Salvation Army for the Upper Valley area of New Hampshire.  Anyway, I laid out $35 for this little thing, a bit of sanding on my part, and Jeff finished it over the weekend.  It's solid wood and will last for-ever!  Who needs Ikea?  NOT ME!!!  I'll take quality and a little work over Ikea any day!!

What was that 100 pictures???  See why it takes me for-ever??  Okay, off to have lunch with the hubs and do some much, much needed grocery shopping.  Looking forward to seeing Barb from Quilting with A Corgi on Thursday.

That's it...
thanks for checking on me..
hugs,
joanne

love to hear what you've got to say............

WOW!!!! What a fabulous place to visit. I can see why one of those gorgeous yard pieces and a few grandkids playing baseball might not be a good idea $$$$$.

We used to pick blueberries every end of July while visiting friend just over the Michigan-Indiana line.
They called it a blueberry bog. Lovely bushes loaded like the ones you showed. Our huge ice chest would be full for our freezer and friends. Now we are in the South where they do green boiled peanuts. Yummy! It is just that time of year now. Over by the Alabama-Georgia line they have the peanut festival.

New England has some wonderful craftsmen/women and quilters. Love the festivals and quilt shows. Your booth was lovely.

Hold on to that wonderful man of yours.

I want to take the girls picking berries, but they won't eat them! and I can only jam so much....and I am not good at the jamming. and so many pies....oh well. Maybe when they are a little older.

lovely treasures!

just to fill you in on me (since you have computer issues I will give it all to you at once) R is next door playing with the neighbors girls and out of my hair, and H is playing in manmade cloud dough/sand made from oil and sand. shes been at it for hours, loves my little science experiments, and um....work, sewing, sleeping, reading.
