Quilter of the day...

This quilter kept me busy for a couple of days!  Showed up on my doorstep with 5 quilts in hand!!  Yep, I think she's been one busy lady!  The quilt were all just wonderful, here's the show from Anne in New Hampshire.

Here's a couple of baby quilts to begin with.....Loved the baby print of the blocks, you are going to have to give it a click to view it.  Early morning sunlight got me....

added an ABC quilting design.....

The blocks on this one is just as cute as ever....

We selected a flower design from Anne Bright called Funkadelic love the whimsical design...

Next we have one that you could have picked up while walking the beach at the ocean....

the feathers were just perfect....

 

And who could resist this blue one?   

 Stitching on this one was another great design from Anne....In the Moment 

has so much movement!

Great quilt design, and the fabrics - can't go wrong with the batiks....

Quilt of the day.....

Whew!!  Trying to get back into the swing of things.  Life just gets way too busy sometimes.  So a short post for today to share this great quilt.

Edith is my quilter of the day, this wonderful quilt made it's way to me from the great state of Washington!   Those west coast ladies sure know how to put some great quilts together.  Here's a shot of Edith's quilt....

Don't  you just love the circles, and the oriental print is fantastic!!

I used a great design by Anne Bright, she is my all time favorite designer.  This pattern is called Syringa Paradise and I think it matches the print perfectly!

 The moment I saw the fabric I knew this was the design to use! I absolute love this one, the colors are just right for me, love the blues!!

Quilter of the day...

These two great quilts come all the way from the state of Washington!!  

Dorothy did a great job with this green log cabin with the rose centers.  Definitely some fussy cutting for this little quilt!  Looks great! 

Stitched out a simple swirl design on this one....

Got scraps?  Here's a fantastic way to use them up!  This is one of my favorite 

way to use them!  

 

We used a wonderful design from Anne Bright, it's called Cypress.

Quilter of the day...

Our quilt today was made by Chris, and it's another one of those wrap me up in a soft snuggly quilt.  The colors add to the warmth of this quilt.  Chris threw in a couple of fun little blocks to add a just a little extra color.  Here's the quilt....

q I believe this was a quick and easy quilt using 4" x 6" rectangles to construct a simple 12" block.  Could be a great weekend project if you are looking for one!

Use Anne Bright edge to edge Leaves, which is a perfect design for 

a manly quilt.

Quilt of the day....

Who does not love the Minky???  This great little bundle of love comes from Kitty in NJ.

 

The fabrics are just perfect for a little person.  The print of the fabric is one that any little boy will just love.

The finishing touch is all about being loved......

Quilt of the day...

Every once in a while you get this perfectly peaceful, beautifully pieced, amazing quilt.

This quilt is one of those.  The colors are so warm and inviting, the quilt pattern is comforting. I truly enjoyed this quilt. 

Suzanne from NH dropped off this wonderful quilt, immediately I felt it just needed the Anne Bright Denali design.  It is one of my favorites, it's simple and elegant all at the same time. 

My lighting does not do justice to Suzanne's quilt.

The backing is almost retro, but works very well with this quilt.  I think it really ties the border into the backing, and just pulls it all together.

Here's a better shot of the quilting... very swirling, it is an amazing quilt!

Quilt of the day....

...is an adorable little pink baby quilt completed last fall by Emily. 

How cute is this???

 It looks like little hears all over the quilt, and so we followed that design 

with the quilting.

Here's the quilt, I am sure it very, very loved.....
