November 2020

Here's the November 2020 quilts for your viewing pleasure!!  What a great month it was, enjoy the show!

Barbara's covid project.  Yep, this had been a UFO haunting her and she was determined to get it finished with so much time on her hands.  What a great accomplishment!

Alyssa finished up this beautiful quilt and it was under the Christmas tree as a gift for her parents.  What a sweetheart!  Great job on picking all of the beautiful blues and blue greens for this wonderful quilt.

Pam just had way too much fun with the next two quilts.  Starting with the bookshelf quilt for her daughter, then the sailboat quilt for her son-in-law. Both of these fun quilts were under the Christmas tree this past Christmas and I'm sure they were a hit.

I believe Pam paper pieced these sail boats, they are just perfect!  The quilt was made for her son-in-law and the center boat with the number 12 is meant to be just like the one he raced in a regatta.

Next up we have quilts from Shirley.  Scrappy and great stash busters!  Shirley's first quilt is the split Nine Patch that she's used white as the solid really making the color pop!  Selecting yellow and blue as the border colors worked very well on this quilt. Finishing it off with a simple quilting design completes this great quilt.

Another quilt from Shirley, I've added this one to my bucket list!  LOVE IT!!

Shirley's last quilt, well of course I'm lovin' it too!!  It's all blues and just wonderful! Shirley always has me use two layers of batting giving her quilt more depth with the quilting and making them super warm.

How sweet are these baby quilts from Leslie?  Working with flannel on the first one makes it softer than soft and you know it's just going to be loved! Modern design and fabrics, so fun.

Very modern and a great way to use a large piece of focus fabric!  Bright colors for the flying geese really brightens up this baby quilt.

Lisa's quilt is amazing!  Her use of color is perfect for the modern design of this quilt pattern.  The dark fabric is perfectly placed giving this quilt great depth.

Nancy kept my machines busy for a couple of days with the following quilts.  Her first quilt is a simple square matched with a cute polka dot print that pairs very well with all of the other prints. Adding a fun green border makes this one super.

Got Scraps?  Here's another great scrap stash buster.

How simply wonderful is this one?  LOVE IT! Great job Nancy!!

Renie's back this month with another incredible quilt!  Every time I look at this quilt I see another design within the blocks.  The bocks and their placement make this quilt fascinating

Susanne sent me a fun quilt to work with this month.  The quilting ladies' panels are always fun to see.  I'm sure we can all relate to the message they send.  Finishing Susanne's quilt off with a sewing quilting design makes this one just a little more fun!

Who does not love t-shirt quilts?  Sue did a great job with her placement on this one.  Adding the smaller row in the center is a great way to use those smaller designs.  Finished off with a simple quilting design completes this fun quilt.

That wraps up another great month of quilting.
Hope you enjoyed the quilts.
