Feature Quilter Joanne Shapp

Joanne Shapp, an amazing talent! If you had the opportunity to attend
MQX East this year you got to see some of her work up close and personal.  Finding words to describe the scope of her work is impossible.  Words can't do her work justice.  It's fun, it's thought provoking, creative, just amazingly spectactular!

Warning....If you don't click to see the upclose view, you will really miss the show.

The first grouping that I'm showing here is a touch of her sense of humor.  Meet Polly Esther Tyler, Joanne created this quilt and it definitely show her wacky sense of humor....check the photo's out closely to see where Polly goes....

Next I'd like to introduce a few of her crop circle creations.  The amount of time, work and efforts that she puts into these, well, I just can't wrap my brain around it all.

Closeup of the piece....don't forget you can click on the photo for closer views, and YES!!  All of the quilts have this much detail.

I didn't get the photo of the field on this one....

Photo of field is on the right side of the quilt...

More traditional pieces, like I said, this woman covers it all...

Check out this one....

I've saved my favorite for last, words just aren't needed,
 Joanne says it all....

Can't top the message the last one sends.

thanks for checking on me,
hugs,
joanne

love to hear what you've got to say.............

OMGoodness!!! Her work is amazing. I love the use of the ties as borders. The field quilting is as incredible as the field designs.

She has such a creative mind and uses her ideas so well.
