Here's a lazy guy just enjoying the sun in our back yard!! Managed to snap this picture a couple of weeks ago. Usually I have about 10 seconds of wildlife viewing before what-ever heads for the woods on either side of the yard. But on this morning I was bouncing through the house from my quilting room to the laundry room and couldn't figure out what that big pile of stuff was in the lower part of the yard. Stopped me dead in my tracks when I figured out that it was this guy just lazily hangin' out enjoying the sun.
I have seen this guy on several occasions and always shared my excitement. But I don't think the family really believed me... now they have too!! I've got a picture of it!! Pretty Cool, 'eh???
Now for the giveaway info, I know that's what you'd REALLY like to know.
Well....remember a couple of weeks ago when I posted about how nice
Island-Batik, SewCalGal, Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio was when I won? And I also mentioned our wonderful Kelly at I Have A Notion?? In the box from Kelly I had purchased some of those wonderful little Coin Purse Frames. You can see them all right HERE. Guarantee these are first class frames and I'm working on a little coin purse using the heart frame. I LOVE the extra details around the frame, really classes it up!!
Well, I bought some of those darling little frames AND Kelly included a few extra since she knew I was going to be hosting a giveaway, because she's just nice like that. Here's the box....
I've got to get some more photo's and maybe some fatquarters together before the posting on how to enter. How's that for a teaser?
More to come...stay tuned!
thanks for checking on me,
hugs,
joanne
love to hear what you've got to say................

Great shot of the bobcat!
Love that shot, so neat to have a bobcat in your back yard, love seeing wildlife. Kelly is a sweetheart, now if she will just take some time to rest and take care of herself;)
Debbie
Is that a bobcat? Totally cool to see it sunning itself like that. :-) And yes, you are a tease! LOL Have a happy day!
We have had bobcats in my next door neighbors yard. I was the only one to see it. No one believed me. Then he was spotted at a local boat ramp just down the hill. Not long after a cougar was in the parking lot at Petco. Said cougar had to be put down because it is a law. Ten miles down the road a cougar took a very small dog from a yard...the woman was right there by the dog. He killed the dog and ate it just a few feet from her. I love nature and love to see all the animals. But I am a little afraid of the big cats! Sorry to say when I walk on my treks down by the river I carry pepper spray. I am a big ole scarey cat!!! Lol
Seriously? That photo is incredible, takes my breath away to think of seeing such a thing . . .
Is that really a lion in your back yard. That is so cool. I am also posting tomorrow for the coin purse. Looking forward to your give away, love to make more coin purses.
Holy cow!! Think that would stop me dead in my tracks too!!!! He is beautiful!!
What a wonderful wildlife sighting! I saw a bobcat here in Florida cross the interstate of all places once.
Wow. That is amazing. Beautiful.
Oh my gosh! That bobcat looks huge. Be careful when venturing outside.
Awesome photo! I would love to see him in my back yard!
What a great photo! A bobcat ran across the road in front of me the other day...I was so excited!
That would stop me dead in my tracks too. Wow....great shot!
I've been making coin purses for the blog hop that starts tomorrow and I got my frames from Kelly. They are so much fun to make.
I can't imagine what it would be like to see that kind of wildlife in your backyard! I've got the squirrel. Thanks for chance to win
Wow - just wow - love the pic of the cat! How gorgeous!
HOLY SCHMOKIN!!! I think I would flip.
Loopy smiles,
Kelly
Eeekkk, is that animal what I think it is?
My first thought is... what kind of lens are you using with your camera??!! Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I haven't seen a bobcat since I moved from Alabama to NC in 2003!! I also saw a black panther once walking along the back hillside on the AL farm where I lived.... miss that kind of surprise!
