Who has time for quilting when you live with this.....

I wanted proof that all three boys were down and out at the same time.  Kid in orange is the one who punched the locker and was the first injury.  It's a boxer fracture, pray that the cast come off on Tuesday I need somebody to cut the grass.  Kid in brown just got home from the ER less than an hour ago.  He was climbing a fence (?) got his hand caught on the top and ripped it open = 10 stitches and followup from a hand doctor to make sure everything heals correctly.  He is also the proud bearer of 4 stitches on the opposite arm.  Skinny kid in black is the "skater dude" that was the newbie on the longboard.  His first time out on the board got him the sporty sling and a broken clavicle.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

All is not lost!!  I am the proud owner of TONS & TONS of new Anne Bright designs!! I have been working like a crazy woman trying to get it all set up and organized before my giveaway.  You betcha', the wheels are still turning and it's coming together.

Okay, now I've got a sink full of dishes, beds to make, laundry to take off of the line.  Needless to say none of that got done today when you get the call "is this Dan's Mom?  We are at the hospital....."  Yep, Mom can run....

thanks for checking on me,
hugs,
joanne

love to hear what you've got to say..............

  2. I have always said that girls are much easier - wow, all three young men incapcitated at the same time. I would have them start painting something - with the other arm - just to keep them out of mischief. Happy day and sewing. Judy C in NC

  3. Oh my gosh!~ I think #3 was tired of doing dishes, so took to the fence! LOL Just joking~ I'm sure he'd rather do dishes. ;-) I hope they are all fast menders and there is no nerve damage to his hand!

  11. I know they say "boys will be boys" but really, did they all need to prove it to you at the same time?

  14. I'll bet the emergency room staff know you by name. (grin) Sorry about all the hurts you all have had lately. Our middle daughter was our klutz. She stubbed her toes so many times growing up, that she got to where she didn't even feel it any more. We also had broken bones and stitches. At least we only had one. Goodness, you poor thing. Hope you have good insurance. You need a day to just play.

  15. I am so thankful I have little girls. not teen boys. I know I am not out of the woods but so far nothing major. I am the one who gets hurt the most. I actualy have a two inch jagged scar
on my ring finger that should have had stitches....should have gotten the hint!
