The retreat was just a few miles away from (of all places) Keepsake Quilting!
How fun is that??
Here's a few pictures I took to give you an idea of what the Keepsake
actually looks like. Talk about some major shopping!!
I spy a few retreaters in the pictures!!
I am looking forward to a quieter November, I'm still on
that fast track, sigh....
Thanks for checking on me,
hugs,
joanne
love to hear what you've got to say......

Did you spend hours there? I know I would have. Thanks for sharing!
That looks like a place I could be lost in all day...what wonderful pictures!
I am soooo jealous! I would love to visit KQ's shop. It looks like a place where I could do serious damage to the wallet.
Lucky you Joanne - how would one know where to start... DWH would have to put a time limit on me. Glad you had a fantastic time - are you going to share what you got? Come on now - you know you did. Judy C
P.S. Are you checking out the Ghastlie Blog Hop - so much fun?
OMG.... a quilter's dream retreat.... SMILES!!!
I wish I could get up there, the type of store you spend the day in, so many fabrics and notions.

Oh what a blast you must of had! I probably have been overwhelmed at the site.
Someday I hope to get up there to Keepsake Quilting.....how nice that you were able to get there. How far is that from where you live?
I wish that one day I could go to a retreat too. It would be a dream to spend a whole weekend that feel the same way about quilting as I do. I have sent you a couple of messages. Have you gotten them?

I was totally blown away when I went there. So much so that I almost didn't buy anything at all cos there was so much choice. I did eventually manage to spend money in there though.
WOW! What an amazing place to visit!!!!! I would have lost in all those goodies!! Lucky you, here I don't have a place like this. Let me know, Joanne, when you receive my envelope. Hugs, Clara.
*SWOON* Oh girl that is my dream destination, lol...well, that and a deserted tropical island. How fabulous!
Hi Joanne,
Just found your blog and wanted to thank you for giving me some happy memories, your pictures of Keepsake Quilting took me right back! I visited there following a Quilting Retreat at Lake Morey in September with 12 quilters (English and Welsh) unfortunately my camera decided this was the holiday to go wrong so I don't have any pictures from the latter part of the holiday. We visited 9 quilt shops and four museums plus 4 days at the retreat in 14 days. What a Gret time we had :-)))
will pop by again
